Every morning, the baker delivers his warm, freshly baked goan bread rolls to The Mitaroy, Goa. Completely natural and free of preservatives, these goan bread rolls are hand made in the wee hours of the morning and then rushed out to be hand delivered as long as they are warm.
We also serve you goan salted butter that just melts on the warm bread rolls, natural fruit jam and orange marmalade, fresh fruit, low fat muesli, slices of ham and salami and boiled eggs on a bed of tomato and garden fresh lettuce.
For those who would like to try a typical Goan Breakfast, we also offer a mildly spiced goan potato vegetable and hot home-made goan meat rolls that are made from a recipe that has been handed down from mother to daughter for generations.
And to drink, a selection of Darjeeling and Assam tea, freshly brewed coffee or 100% fruit juice.
Lunch and Dinner
Since we are a small Heritage Homestay, we do not serve Lunch and Dinner at The Mitaroy.
Instead, we recommend that you try out some of the local restaurants and bars nearby, that serve a wide variety of local and international cuisine. In the taverns and restaurants of Panjim, you will have the opportunity to taste authentic, traditional Goan cuisine with ingredients such as fresh seafood, pork and beef.
Panjim is also famous for having the best restaurants in the whole of Goa, including Georges, Viva Panjim, Godhinhos, Ritz Classic and Mums Kitchen to name a few.
